Flash, Batwoman & Supergirl Could Have Shorter Seasons

Flash, Batwoman & Supergirl May Have Reduced Seasons Due To Coronavirus

The Coronavirus pandemic may have scored another TV victim, with the possibility of The Flash, Batwoman & Supergirl having to reduce their season length growing by the day.

TV networks have fairly rigid short to long term timetables for their key shows. This makes it very difficult if a show must postpone filming for certain reasons, in this case, the COVID-19 virus, and thus their release dates get pushed out.

This likely wouldn’t be as big of a deal if it was a multi-cam sitcom or a show with limited editing, but since The Flash, Batwoman & Supergirl deal with quite a lot of post-production editing and CGI development, it will be unfeasible to push out a regular length season in a shorter period of time.

We’ll let you know when more information is released to the public by the CW Network, but at this stage, fans of the shows should be preparing themselves for shorter seasons.
