Injustice: Gods Among Us is based off the wildly successful video game of the same name. The success of the original game spawned a sequel as well as a spin-off comic book run. The game was a Mortal Kombat-esque fighter, and was released in 2013. It has long been revered as a classic, mostly for it’s incredibly engaging story line, but also for the timeless button-mash gameplay.
The film will be produced by Rick Morales and Jim Krieg. Morales is best known for his work on’ Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge’. Sam Register will serve as executive producer.
